Basic Article Writing

The very best articles that you could write are articles about what you already know. Everyone
knows something, and writing about what you enjoy, what you like, and what you are passionate
about, will get you far. These are the topics that you should focus on, even if they do not directly
pertain to your business opportunity. You enjoy these topics and are also in the business of your
choosing, so others may have an interest in the topics of your articles and also have the dream
of their own business. Whatever you write about, write from the heart. Don't ever hesitate and it
is encouraged to add supportive quotes with the quote authors name. Example) "Those who mind
don't matter and those who matter don't mind" Dr. Seuss

Start by setting up the basic five paragraph article or "essay" if you are feeling "rusty".
Introduction Paragraph With a Topic Sentence (Remember These)
Three Body Paragraphs
Conclusion Paragraph

If you are quite comfortable writing an article, lets talk about Title and Keyword Placement to
optimize the search engine.

You can do this two ways. Write your article with no thought for Keywords and Title first (which
I do about half the time). Look over your draft article and decide which Keywords will attract
readers to the "Content" of your article, not the "Content" of your business links. Then, choose
your full name (First and Last), Three or Four other related keywords to the content of the article,
and use the Fifth for either your "Nickname" (I use Wavecritter) or for the Title to your article. If
you use the fifth for your nickname, make one of the others the title to your article. Here is an
example:

Title:
Generic MLM - The Basic Tool Of Copy and Paste

Category:
[Home-Based-Business:Network-Marketing]

Summary:
A great need is erupting in the generic MLM market. There is a torrent of technologically
challenged people who are eager to get started marketing their outstanding business
opportunities on the Internet.

Keywords:
generic mlm,how to copy and paste, basic computer instruction, stephanie haile, wavecritter
Author Bio:
Stephanie Haile AKA Wavecritter is a 43 year old wife, mother, and business owner who enjoys
spending time with her family at the beach, at a great movie, or with an awesome novel.

Typing Generic MLM as a search term in Google will get you this article on the first page,
But Why? The Main Keyword placement of Generic MLM: Once in the Title, Once In The
Summary, Once in The body, Once In The Last paragraph. The secondary keyword of
How To Copy And Paste (copy and paste) is used sprinkled throughout (maybe 3 times)
but not overdone.

Here Is Another Example:

Title:
Generic MLM - Green Like a Turtle In A Still Pond By Stephanie Haile
Category:
[Home-Based-Business:Network-Marketing]
Summary:
Whether you are brand new or just into network marketing by a month or so, you may feel
like a turtle in a still pond. Sitting still and very green.
Keywords:generic mlm, stephanie haile,
wavecritter, green like a turtle in a still pond
Author Bio:Stephanie Haile enjoys teaching new
people to the Internet how to navigate and become comfortable with their computers. She is
a business owner, wife, mom, pet lover, and beach enthusiast who writes, reads, plays video
games, and helps others create a residual income for financial stability. Google Stephanie
Haile and get in touch or give her a call and find out about how her business can help you!

Typing Generic MLM as a search term in Google will get you this article on the first page as well,
but not as high up. Why? One too many Generic MLM as keyword placements and in the wrong
places. Once In The Title, Twice In The first paragraph, Once In The body, and Once In The Last
Paragraph. The placement matters. Keep it more like the first example and it will stay higher on
the search page. I have at least 5 more examples exactly like this one to support my "test".
Skipping the summary and putting two in the first paragraph isn't as good as One In The Title,
One in the Summary, Body, and Last Paragraph.

The second way would be to focus on your keywords as you write (again, half the time for me
personally). Write your article "around" the Keywords and Title. You decide How To write and
what is to your taste.
