Advertising is the extension of getting your message out to the world.
You will now begin to learn how to get your message to the world through
this medium we call Advertising.
Advertising is to create exposure for your unique message to reach
thousands. Once you begin to understand all of these concepts of the
social network. Now you will begin to understand advertising is the driving
force that keeps up your momentum. If you don't advertise you loose
momentum. If you loose momentum
your story will not be seen. So don't think of advertising just being a where you just drive traffic too, think
about it in this manner. Remember again you are dealing with people, not so called Traffic.
Understanding where to Advertise:
Now that you understand what advertising is you have to now
figure out where? This seems to be the million dollar question.
How to I create exposure to get my message to the world?
So in determining this answer during this process you want to
start some where you are familiar with. Most people are told to
go into many directions to fast. This is a formula for disaster,
and creates a state of confusion, because they have no clue
where to go. It only makes since to start where you are at and
branch from there right? Okay well then why not advertise in
your current social network, your blog, or through
free classifieds. Makes sense doesn't it. Now that you understand these concepts, this approach will be much
more highly effective them it once was. This is your starting point, and this leads me on to the next subject.
Word Of Mouth Advertising:
Word of mouth advertising we are familiar with this concept.
We all have experienced a good movie, or even a great
place to eat at. We then passed this message to somebody
else as a recommendation to try out. This is one of the most
powerful forms of advertising on the planet.
Why? Because people share their experiences, messages
and pass it forward. So it’s important to keep the message
from being a bad message. Why because bad news travels
fast, as fast as good news. So keep this in mind when
presenting yourself through your opportunity. The last thing
you want is to have people get the wrong idea about you
and have that spread like wild fire. You want this to message
to travel fast through a social networks and your advertising
in a good way. This is your stopping grounds for your
basic advertising goals in needs. This one form of advertising if done correctly will out weight any other form of
advertising out there.
Advertising Your Message through Classifieds:
This is a very basic form of advertising. Everybody has read their
newspaper and see classified ads right? Take it a step about that
you have seen them all over the Internet. However which ads grabbed
your attention that most. This is so crucial to understand this, because
you have about 3 seconds to grab the prospect or readers attention.
So this message is vital to your success.
One of the most important tools is to be able to write a well written
classified ad that sells. It’s all about your delivery and presentation.
Ad writing (ad copy) is as easy as drinking water if you look at this
way. However it’s been put into a perspective where it may becomes confusing. Some people can wave their
magic wand and write and had just like taking that drink of water, while others have challenges to writing a
classified ad. So we are going to show you how to get back to that simplistic understanding.
The first thing to writing a classified ad is having the correct mindset. We have established this mindset in
earlier lessons, however this is a process, and you will continue to develop that mindset. Now let’s visualize
the last ad you saw on television, radio in the newspaper, and or magazine that grabbed your attention. How
did it make you feel, happy, sad, anxious, or did you want that product right away?
This is the key to writing a classified ad you have to get your feeling across, because feeling creates a call to
action. People act on their emotions. Think about it, and really analyze it. You have to speak and get your
message to target market that you are trying to reach. This doesn't mean you can't currently create and ad,
and get a response. This just means you need some tips to get you going on the right track.
Let’s Get You On The Right Track:
Here are tried and tested tips that will help you create a very responsive
classified ad. This will positively impact the person and target market you
are trying to reach. The bottom line is you want to create a action to get a
reaction. This is a very simple formula. We all know Newton’s Law. "For
every action there is and opposite reaction". Make sure you are using
attention grabber headlines. This creates the flow for the rest of your ad
copy this flow is essential.
The majority of the masses have a very short attention spam so you need
to grab your attention right away, otherwise you are giving them a chance
to say no, and move on. When creating a body its important to keep them
engaged. Remember you only have 6 seconds or less to make this impact.
People react to people better then they do a product. So remember this
when creating your ad copy.
Also make sure you don't over do your punctuation. For example if you use to many explanation points.
You are really in essence raising your voice, and comes across the same way as spam. We all know
how we feel about that “LOL” Also when presenting information, don't assume the reader knows what
you are talking about.
Example:
"Save Lots of money Great discounts" This is not enough information. Remember you want to engage
them into that process. So instead present the information this way. "50% discount Save up to $125.00".
You are presenting a solution to them.
If you are offering a discount to the customer state the exact amount or percentage right away. Don’t make
the user guess. Instead of saying, “Great discounts! Save lots of money!” try using, “50% discount. Save
up to $125!” If you are providing a solution to a particular problem say so upfront. Instead of saying, “Are
you worried about premature hair loss?” try saying, “Prevent hair loss today!” Communicate your message
so they don't have to guess. This is very important.
